Janet M. Alonso (nee Bohlander), age 41 of Stony Point, NY was taken from us on September 11, 2001 in the attack on the World Trade Center. Loving wife of Robert C. Alonso, devoted mother of Victoria, 2 1/2 and Robert, Jr. (Robbie), 18 months. She is also survived by sister and brother-in-law Cheryl and Joseph Russo of Garnerville, NY, sister and brother-in-law Karen and John Banyo of Tuxedo, NY, brother Richard Bohlander of Odenton, MD, niece Jennifer Russo, nephew Christopher Russo both of Garnerville, NY and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Janet was born August 14, 1960 to the late George W. and the late Ruth H. Bohlander. She was raised in Tappan, NY and graduated from Tappan Zee High School in 1978. She earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Dominican College in 1998. At the time of the tragic attack, she was working for Marsh & McLennan on the 97th floor of the North Tower. She previously worked at Lederle Laboratories, Pearl River, NY from 1979-1995. Janet touched the lives of many people and she will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Janet will be remembered at a memorial service on Saturday, October 27, 2001 at 3 pm at the Marian Shrine, Stony Point, NY.
